What is in this collection

30 published HDRIs carry the forest tag, all under the Outdoor category. Prices range from $8 to $49 per variant, and resolutions span 6144x3072 to 16000x8000 pixels, delivered as .exr. Examples: HDR 149 Forest, HDR 150 Forest and HDR 151 Forest.

When to use forest HDRIs

  • Residential or cabin exteriors set against a tree line, where canopy light needs to read as filtered rather than open sky.
  • Landscape architecture renders along a woodland edge or planted buffer.
  • Trail, campground or park pathway visualizations that pass through tree cover.
  • Product or vehicle shots that need soft, low-contrast natural light instead of direct sun.

Rendering notes

Forest captures typically carry soft morning or afternoon light with dappled sunlight through the canopy and cool green color casts, which keeps shadows from going fully black since light bounces between trunks and leaves before reaching the ground. Because the sky is mostly obscured by foliage, a mid-resolution file (6144x3072 to 8192x4096) is usually enough unless a canopy gap exposes the sky directly to camera.
