Scanned 3D people prepared for 3ds Max: open the .max file and the V-Ray materials, textures and scale are set. The OBJ archive in the same download covers Corona, Arnold and any other renderer.

Each archive holds the scanned mesh with V-Ray materials and the texture files next to it, so the model renders correctly as soon as the archive is unzipped and the .max file is opened or merged. Scale is real-world metres. The models are posed characters, which makes them a single mesh without a skeleton; that keeps scenes light and avoids the generic pose that rigged characters bring.
The V-Ray materials convert with the usual converter scripts; there are no procedural shaders that would be lost. Sets and the newer single models also carry an OBJ version with the diffuse maps. For an HDRI environment light the people with the same dome light as the building so shadows and colour temperature match.
Scanned people are dense meshes. Merge them last, and turn them into V-Ray proxies when a scene holds more than a handful; the proxies keep the materials and cut viewport load.
